Rural Pharmacy

There's an ad on TV at this moment (though perhaps only in regional areas, given its content), trying to encourage young people to do pharmacy. If you haven't seen the ad, the premise is that there is a conversation between two people over MSN, or another similar program. You basically read the transcript of what they are talking about, which happens to be pharmacy. There is the typical MSN neglect of vowels and overuse of numbers, et cetera, which is very frustrating to anybody older than 17 or so.
But it concerns me that pharmacy organisations are targeting these people. Surely in this abbreviated world, something is going to get mixed up. Though it is presumably less embarassing to go to the chemist to ask for hmrrd crm.
The ad also implies that a pharmacist's white coat is considered 'sexC', ie- sexy. I would like to say that disregarding the fact that it is actually easier to spell the word sexy than the word 'SexC', I don't know how sexually attractive the notion of a pharmacist is. Do people have pharmacy fantasies. Quite frankly, I think that a pharmacy is the least sexy place in the world. You only go to a pharmacy to deal with something embarassing.
So perhaps some people do find pharmacists sexy. I would like to warn you that I am not one of them. Become a pharmacist, by all means, but don't do it with the misapprehension that I will like you more for it.
